Jake Rickard - South Downs Way

16th-17th March 2026


I joined hiker Jake Rickard as he hiked the first part of the South Downs Way - a well established hiking trail on the south coast of England running from Eastbourne to Winchester. Jake is planning to walk the full South Downs Way next year in a staggering 4 days! Most people take 8+ days to walk this 100 mile route. This mini hike was part of his training, scouting the travel and first part of the route from Eastbourne to Alfriston.


I joined Jake to produce for him a short highlight video and also took a small number of photos. The video was provided both in horizontal format for YouTube and vertical format for social media.
