While many photographers may be able to produce beautiful images in controlled studio conditions, outdoor photographers must excel in conditions that are beyond our control.

An outdoor photographer knows how to work with the environment rather than against it. That means reading natural light quickly, positioning around wind and landscape, and making creative decisions in real time. It also means using equipment designed to handle rain, cold, dust, and uneven ground without compromising quality.

Because I’m active outdoors myself, I understand the pace, the physical demands, and the small details that matter. That perspective allows me to capture images that feel authentic, capable, and true to the experience, no matter the conditions.

Absolutely! The services outlined on my website reflect the type of work I specialise in, but they aren’t an exhaustive list of everything I can do.

I'm based in South Wales in the UK and regularly work in the surrounding areas. I am however available for travel both within the UK and internationally if thats where your project takes you.

Delivery times vary depending on the type of project and the agreed deliverables. A short session, multi-day event, or commercial project will each require a different turnaround.

Before we begin, we’ll agree on a clear timeline so you know exactly what to expect and when. You’ll have complete clarity from the outset, and I’ll keep to the agreed schedule.

Whatever the project, I always aim to work efficiently and deliver your images as soon as possible after the shoot, without compromising on quality.

In most cases, the weather isn’t a problem. I work with the conditions rather than against them. Wind, rain, cloud, or shifting light are often part of the story, especially for the brands and people I work with who are outdoors regardless of the forecast.

However, if we’ve agreed on a very specific concept that requires particular conditions, and those conditions aren’t present on the day, we’ll reschedule accordingly.

This is something we discuss in advance, so expectations are clear and decisions are made professionally and with the best outcome in mind.

Spending time outdoors is at the core of it. Being in wild, open spaces and seeing how light, landscape, and movement come together naturally is a constant source of inspiration.

I’m also inspired by people doing what they genuinely enjoy, whether that’s competing, exploring, building a brand, or simply spending time outside. Capturing those moments as they unfold, and presenting events, businesses, and individuals in their strongest, most natural light, is what drives my work.
